Celebrating love, life and milestones

Welcome

If you are a lovely human determined to celebrate the chuff out of life but struggling to

  • know where to start when it comes to celebrant-led ceremonies,

  • find someone professional yet relaxed and friendly to support you in your celebrations, or

  • you hate the idea of a registrar-led, stuffy wedding ceremony,

you have come to the right place.

My mission is to help folks like you have the day you are dreaming of.

Let's kick off your celebrations with a ceremony that truly reflects your personality, relationships/friendships and wishes for the future.

Inclusivity

I believe in the importance of representing, celebrating and respecting diversity in thought, belief and experience. I welcome enquiries from ANY and ALL of you wanting a non-religious, inclusive celebration.

Not a tokenistic tick box gesture. I am committed to learning how to be a better ally.

I am here to support clients celebrate their achievements and milestones in ways that feel meaningful to them; making memories with loved ones and appreciating the one beautiful life we have is something wonderful so it is important to do it in a way that you feel best suits you. My ceremony scripts are completely bespoke and clients are in full control of their ceremony content. They are fully inclusive.

To show my commitment to inclusivity, I have registered as a founding member of LGBTQ Equality Weddings.

I have taken part in their inclusivity report and have acted on the advise given in that.

I also consider myself a white ally, but more importantly, I hope you do too. I am actively learning how to be a better ally and working on being more vocal about my anti-racism.

During my planning meetings I ask about language preferences, pronouns, and whether there are any parts of your culture or heritage you would like to include in your ceremonies. I may not always get it right first time, but I will always listen to you and respect your preferences.

“I refuse to accept the view that mankind is so tragically bound to the starless midnight of racism and war that the bright daybreak of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality… I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word”.

Martin Luther King Jr.

What is a Humanist Ceremony?

It’s hard trying to describe a typical humanist ceremony as, by definition, each one is completely unique.

There are no rules, and celebrants can give as much or as little help as is needed to create a truly fitting occasion.

That said, all humanist ceremonies are:

  • Unique: There is no set script to follow. Our celebrants will work with you and write a bespoke ceremony.

  • Non-religious: Our ceremonies focus on what matters in ‘the one life we have’; our relationships with those we love and what we value.

  • Personal: Focus is on the person or couple that the ceremony is all about, their personality and individuality.

  • Tailored: We’ll make sure the mood, content and tone are exactly what you want.

  • CollaborativeOur role is to work with you to create a ceremony that is everything you want it to be, and more.

  • Flexible: It’s for you to decide where and when the ceremony is to be held. Let us know and we’ll be there.

  • Sincere: There is nothing that has to be included or words that have to be said. Every word will be true to you and your outlook.

  • Approved: You’ll have the opportunity to read and feedback on some or all of the draft of the ceremony if you wish. It’s your ceremony – you decide when it’s just right.

Lisa was fantastic, a very warm and friendly character.  We hadn’t been able to meet before the ceremony yet Lisa was still able to deliver it to exactly what I wanted.

Lisa, thank you for such a lovely naming ceremony on Sunday, it was just what we wanted.

Lisa was wonderful and made our celebration perfect.
From day one she made us feel comfortable and confident that the ceremony would be what we wanted. The information she sent us and ideas she put forward really met our vision for the day.
