How to use Pantone's Colour of the Year 2020 through the seasons

Every year, to reflect trend analysis from the runway, Pantone releases its Colour of the Year.

This year it is the turn of Classic Blue.

Pantone describe the colour as "instilling calm, confidence, and connection" highlighting our "desire for a dependable and stable foundation on which to build". Which is quite a nice base for humanist ceremony decor isn't it?!

But it seems quite a wintry colour, so how can you use it through the seasons?

Spring

Pair it with typical Spring colours yellow and green.

Summer

Classic blue in the summer gives you a few options. Use it amongst other blues and white for a beautiful beach themed ceremony, or choose bright colours like last year's Colour of the Year Living Coral, magenta and sunflower yellow.

Autumn

Beautiful accents for Classic Blue in Autumn are oranges, reds and coppers.

Winter

For Winter weddings, silvers, greys, deep reds/burgundy or pale pinks are all fabulous.

Hope that helps! I'd love to see how you are using Classic Blue in your wedding or event decor.
